Frequently asked questions
How do I extract pages from a PDF?
Click the pages you want in the preview, or type their numbers, for example “1-3, 5, 8-” for pages 1 to 3, page 5 and page 8 to the end. The pages and the text field always show the same selection.
In what order are the extracted pages saved?
In the same order as in the original PDF, whatever order you clicked or typed them in. To change the order, use Organize PDF afterwards.
Can I save every page as a separate file?
Yes. Tick “One file per page” and you get one PDF for every selected page, which you can download together as a ZIP.
Is my original PDF changed?
No. The pages are copied into a new file and your original stays as it is. Bookmarks, form fields and links that jump to other pages are not carried over. If the original is password protected, the new file is saved without a password.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside your browser on your own device, so private documents stay private. You can check this in your browser’s network panel.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files need a lot of memory, so on an older phone a smaller file works best.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
