The short version

Flatscan processes your files inside your own browser. The documents, images, signatures and watermarks you add are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party.

What stays on your device

Everything you select, including PDFs, Word files, images, signatures, stamps and watermarks, is read and processed locally by your browser. The generated PDF is created locally and saved by your browser.

We keep your last-used scan settings (sliders and presets) in your browser’s local storage so they are still there next time. They contain no personal data and never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we collect

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we do not set cookies.

Like any website, the hosting provider that delivers this site may keep standard server logs (for example IP address, time of request and the page requested) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.

Third parties

All code, fonts and libraries used by the tools are served from this website. The tools do not call third-party services.

Because we do not collect personal data through the tools, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about this policy, contact us using the details below.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
