In what order are the files merged?
In the order shown on the page, from first to last. Drag the cards or use the arrow buttons to change the order before you merge.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Yes. You are asked for the password of each protected file. The merged document itself is not protected; use Protect PDF afterwards if you want a password on it.
Will bookmarks and form fields be kept?
The pages are copied exactly as they are, including text, images and links inside the pages. Document-level bookmarks and form fields are not carried over.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside your browser on your own device, so private documents stay private. You can check this in your browser’s network panel.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files need a lot of memory, so on an older phone a smaller file works best.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
