How do I split a PDF into single pages?
Choose “One file per page”. You get one PDF for every page, and you can download them all together as a ZIP.
How do page ranges work?
Type page numbers and ranges separated by commas. “1-3, 5, 8-” means pages 1 to 3, page 5, and page 8 up to the last page. Each range becomes its own file. Tick “Merge all ranges into one file” to get a single PDF that holds those pages instead.
Will the parts look exactly like the original pages?
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. Bookmarks, form fields and links that jump to other pages are not carried over, because the target page may not be in the same file.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Yes. You are asked for the password when you add the file. The parts are saved without a password: use Protect PDF afterwards if you want to lock them again.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside your browser on your own device, so private documents stay private. You can check this in your browser’s network panel.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files need a lot of memory, so on an older phone a smaller file works best.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
