Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the pages to remove?
Click a page to mark it: a red frame and a check mark show that it will be removed. You can also type page numbers, for example “2, 4-6, 9-” for page 2, pages 4 to 6 and page 9 to the end. The pages and the text field always show the same selection.
Are the removed pages really gone from the file?
Yes. The new PDF is built from the pages you keep, so the removed pages are not stored in it. Your original file is not changed.
Will the remaining pages keep their quality?
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images are not recompressed. Bookmarks, form fields and links that jump to other pages are not carried over.
Can I remove pages from a password-protected PDF?
Yes. You are asked for the password when you add the file. The result is saved without a password: use Protect PDF afterwards if you want to lock it again.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside your browser on your own device, so private documents stay private. You can check this in your browser’s network panel.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files need a lot of memory, so on an older phone a smaller file works best.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
