Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate only some of the pages?
Yes. Every page has its own rotate buttons. To turn many pages at once, type their numbers (for example “2, 4-6”) or choose the odd or the even pages, and then use “Rotate selected left” or “Rotate selected right”. With no pages chosen, those buttons turn every page.
Does rotating change the quality or the text?
No. Only the orientation of the pages is stored differently. Text stays selectable, images are not recompressed, and bookmarks and links stay in the file.
Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?
Yes. You are asked for the password when you add the file. The rotated PDF is saved without a password: use Protect PDF afterwards if you want to lock it again.
Is my original file changed?
No. You download a new file and your original stays as it is.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside your browser on your own device, so private documents stay private. You can check this in your browser’s network panel.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files need a lot of memory, so on an older phone a smaller file works best.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
