Frequently asked questions
How do I change the order of the pages?
Drag a page to a new place, or use the arrow buttons under it. The arrow buttons also work with the keyboard and on touch screens. “Reverse order” turns the whole document around.
Can I add pages from other PDF files?
Yes. Click “Add PDF files”, or drop files on the page, and their pages are added at the end. Move them wherever you like. When several files are loaded, every page carries a numbered badge that shows the file it comes from.
Can I undo a mistake?
Yes. Undo and Redo step through your changes, and so do Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z. Nothing is saved until you click Save PDF, and your original files are never changed.
How big is a blank page, and what is kept?
A new blank page gets the size of the page it is added next to, as that page looks after turning. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. Bookmarks, form fields and links that jump to other pages are not carried over.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside your browser on your own device, so private documents stay private. You can check this in your browser’s network panel.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files need a lot of memory, so on an older phone a smaller file works best.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
