Frequently asked questions
In what order do the images appear?
In the order shown on the page, one image per page, from first to last. Drag the cards or use the arrow buttons to change the order, or sort the images by file name.
Which page size should I choose?
"Fit to image" makes every page exactly as big as its image, so nothing is padded or cropped. A4 and US Letter put each image in the middle of a standard page, as large as it can be without distorting it.
Will my images lose quality?
The images are saved as JPEG inside the PDF. Images with more than 4000 pixels on the longest side are reduced to that size, which keeps the PDF a sensible size and is still sharp on paper. Use the quality setting to choose between a smaller file and more detail.
What happens to transparent PNGs, animated GIFs and rotated photos?
Transparent areas turn white. An animated GIF gives its first frame. Photos that carry a rotation flag, as most phone photos do, are turned upright.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside your browser on your own device, so private documents stay private. You can check this in your browser’s network panel.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files need a lot of memory, so on an older phone a smaller file works best.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
